Afghan miners upgrade skills in Uzbekistan

A delegation of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has arrived in Uzbekistan within the framework of bilateral cooperation to undergo advanced training in geology and mining, UzA reports. This was reported by kursiv.uz. reports .
The specialists are taking part in a professional training program at specialized educational institutions in Uzbekistan. The 28-day courses, supported by Uzbek Overseas Geology Company, are being held at the Institute for Advanced Training of Mining and Geological Sector Personnel under the University of Geological Sciences.
The curriculum is dedicated to “Laboratory and analytical research in geological exploration and the mining industry” and aims to strengthen participants’ practical skills and analytical capacity.
