Artificial Intelligence and Uzbekistan's Smart Economy


On November 13, 2025, the international conference "KEY TECH: AI in Trade and E-commerce" was held in Tashkent. The event was organized by Khisam Communications with the sponsorship of InfinBANK.

This conference served as a platform uniting leaders from the online trade industry, banking sector, retail, and IT companies to discuss how artificial intelligence technologies are reshaping business processes and setting new standards for customers. Participants emphasized that artificial intelligence is not merely a trend but a key tool revolutionizing company management, data analysis, and customer interactions.

The conference was inaugurated by Ismoiljon Iminoxunov of Servercore, who provided insights into how GPU technologies can reduce costs for online platforms and accelerate artificial intelligence models.

Attendees included representatives from major companies such as Uzum Market, Alif Shop, Wildberries, Wolt, and others. A core topic of discussion was the role of artificial intelligence as a practical tool in the industry.

In his remarks, Suxrob Shamuratov highlighted the capabilities of artificial intelligence in handling big data and enabling swift decision-making. During a panel discussion moderated by Muzaffar Azamov, the advantages of artificial intelligence in enhancing e-commerce competitiveness and comparisons between human and AI roles were debated.

Kamronbek Muhammadiev, a representative of NAPP, stressed the need for further practical testing of the technology's potential. Other segments of the conference addressed artificial intelligence's role in banking, its application in data analysis, and its use in personalizing customer services.

Aziz Siyoyev, a representative of InfinBANK, shared experiences on how decisions made with the help of artificial intelligence improve accuracy and efficiency. In a discussion moderated by Ulugbek Tavakkalov of Kapitalbank, representatives from major banks, including AVO Bank and Mikrokreditbank, participated.

They emphasized that artificial intelligence has moved beyond experimental stages to become the key to competitiveness. In the closing session, discussions focused on the opportunities AI presents for small businesses, including dynamic pricing and optimizing supply chains.

Lazziz Adhamov (LINKO/WINGO) outlined the benefits of artificial intelligence for small businesses, while Vladislav Dolenko (AIN Property Management) highlighted its contribution to enhancing customer experience.

The "KEY TECH" conference once again underscored the critical role artificial intelligence plays in Uzbekistan's economy. Artificial intelligence is creating a holistic ecosystem in data analysis, customer relations, and business management.

According to Taufiq Khisamov, Director of Khisam Communications, over 100 projects are planned to integrate artificial intelligence into public administration, social sectors, and the economy by the end of 2026.
