Telegram’s Android app is expected to launch with an updated design closer to the iOS operating system style. This was reported by the “Kod Durova” outlet. This is also reported by kursiv.uz.reports.
One of the key changes is the removal of the app’s side slide-out menu (drawer). It will be replaced by a floating bar at the bottom of the screen, bringing together the main sections such as “Contacts”, “Calls”, “Chats”, and “Profile”.
The refreshed interface now looks even more like the iOS version: quick action buttons have been added to user profiles, and colorful icons have appeared in the settings section.
In the current beta build, some interface elements and the search bar are still displayed in English. The official release date of the new design for all users has not been specified, but the update is expected to roll out in the coming days.
