In Uzbekistan, employees working a 5-day week will have three consecutive days off for Navruz — March 21, 22, and 23. Those working a 6-day week will still have to work on March 22 (Saturday).
This schedule is based on the 2025 work calendar approved by the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction. According to Article 208 of the Labor Code, if a public holiday falls on a rest day, the day off is moved to the next working day.
Official days off:
March 21 (Friday) — Navruz holiday;
March 22 (Saturday) — day off only for those on a 5-day workweek;
March 23 (Sunday) — general day off.
For employees with a 6-day workweek, only March 21 and 23 will be non-working days, while March 22 remains a regular workday.
Additionally, for International Women's Day on March 8, those on a 5-day workweek will also get three consecutive days off — March 8, 9, and 10. However, employees working 6 days a week will resume work on March 10.
