Admission to extramural education will be suspended

The Presidential Decree “On Additional Measures to Ensure the Quality of Education and Improve the System of Educational Services” was adopted.

The Decree establishes the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Education under the Presidential Administration on the basis of the Project Office “Center for Projects in the Field of Education”.

The Agency is designated as a specially authorized state body that carries out external quality control in the fields of secondary specialized, vocational, higher and post-higher education, as well as retraining and advanced training of personnel, and assessment of qualifications.

The Agency conducts comprehensive and special state accreditation of organizations (educational organizations) providing secondary specialized, vocational, higher and post-higher education, as well as retraining and advanced training of personnel. Here:

• complex state accreditation is carried out every 5 years based on the results of an external assessment of educational organizations;
  
• special state accreditation is carried out before the start of the educational process for educational programs for which personnel training is being established.
  

In addition, the agency will conduct a National Employer Survey to study the compliance of graduates of educational institutions with the requirements of the modern labor market.

Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, admission to the correspondence form of education has been terminated. Also, admission quotas for alternative forms of education other than full-time education will be gradually increased.

This requirement applies equally to both state and non-state (private) universities. In this case, admission to correspondence education will be terminated in all directions. Currently studying higher education students will continue their studies in correspondence.

Admission quotas for alternative forms of education other than full-time education will be gradually increased instead of correspondence education. Also, training in a rationalized full-time form of education (part-time education) will be allowed.

It is not allowed to increase the general admission quota for alternative forms of education in universities by 50% of the admission result of the full-time form of education. Teaching in the form of alternative education is allowed at the master's level. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
