On the eve of the new 2025/2026 academic year, new technologies are being introduced in the country's education system. Within the framework of the “Safe School” project, modern biometric surveillance systems will be installed in all general education schools. This innovation aims to ensure student safety, monitor class attendance, and provide parents with prompt information.
What makes the new system different?
- Each student will be automatically registered through facial recognition upon entering the school. Special cameras will determine whether the student has arrived or not;
- If a child does not come to school at all, an automatic SMS notification will be sent to the parents’ phone;
- Surveillance cameras at schools will also record tardiness, disciplinary violations, or emergency situations.
These measures aim not only to enhance student safety but also to ensure regular attendance and strengthen cooperation between schools and parents.
According to officials, this system will be implemented gradually and will be fully operational by the start of the school year. This will allow real-time monitoring of each student’s school attendance.
In short, from September onward, schools will not only be centers of knowledge but also highly controlled and secure environments. Parents will be continuously informed about whether their child has arrived at school and at what time. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
