In Namangan, a little girl in a kindergarten had a pencil pierce her eye and suffered a serious injury
A distressing incident occurred in one of the kindergartens in Namangan region. A video showing a three-year-old girl having a pencil pierce her eye has spread on social networks. According to the “Milliy” TV channel, the incident happened at kindergarten No. 20 in Chortoq district.
It is reported that while the child was running, she lost her balance, fell, and the pencil in her hand went into her eye. After the incident, the caregivers immediately took the girl to the hospital.
Doctor Bobur Khojaev, in an interview with the TV channel, said that the patient was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition.
“The pencil entered the patient’s right eye. Emergency medical assistance was provided, and resuscitation and intensive treatments are currently being carried out. Her overall condition is stably serious, and the girl is conscious,” the doctor emphasized.
At the moment, it is said that the girl’s eyesight has been preserved. Medical staff express hope that she will recover fully soon.
