The question of when and in what manner entrance tests to all higher education institutions in the country for the 2025/2026 academic year would be conducted had long remained unanswered. Today, finally, an official response was given. The Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills has disclosed all the expected information regarding this important process.
It was reported that the tests will be held from July 14 to July 23, 2025. The exams will be conducted daily in two shifts — at 08:00 and 15:00. This format is planned to be implemented in all regions.
Applicants must know their assigned date and shift in advance and arrive at the designated location at least 1.5 hours before the start of the test. If someone is late or confuses the time, they may not be allowed into the exam hall.
Every candidate arriving for the test must bring their passport or ID card, as well as their admission permit (ticket). Participation is not allowed without these documents. In particular, a copy of the passport is not accepted — only the original is required. In some cases, a personal certificate may be accepted, but it must also be official.
The agency emphasized that all permits have been available since June 7 via my.uzbmb.uz for those applicants who registered online. Each applicant can log in using their ID number and personal data, download the ticket, and print it.
It is also stressed that the test is organized strictly on the date and shift stated on the ticket. If an applicant comes on another day or time, they will not be allowed into the building. This rule is strictly enforced and no exceptions are made.
In recent years, the number of applicants who miscalculate time and show up for the wrong shift has increased. Based on this, specialists recommend that all candidates print their ticket and review it multiple times.
In addition, parents, relatives, and friends will not be allowed into the areas where the tests are held. The exam is strictly for applicants. Security measures will be enhanced at test sites, with monitoring via surveillance cameras and metal detectors.
It is strictly prohibited to bring mobile phones, electronic devices, cheat sheets, and other assistive tools. If such items are discovered, the applicant will be removed from the test and appropriate measures will be taken.
Experts advise applicants to rest, manage their time wisely, study daily using test questions, eat healthy during breaks, and follow a proper sleep schedule.
Several days before the exam, it is better to review previously studied material and practice more rather than learning new topics. On exam day, it is advised to choose a light and energy-rich breakfast.
The exam is not only a test of knowledge for applicants but also of self-control, stress resistance, and concentration. Therefore, psychological preparation is just as important as intellectual readiness.
These are challenging days for hundreds of thousands of youth across the country. Each participant must show knowledge, patience, discipline, and mental stability. We hope that the 2025 testing process will proceed transparently, peacefully, and fairly.
