New houses are named only in Uzbek

In Uzbekistan, according to a new decision, residential complexes, neighborhoods, and other construction sites are to be named only in the state language – Uzbek. This decision was made to ensure that the names in the construction sector are unified and comply with the rules of the Uzbek language. Additionally, regulations have been developed to strengthen national identity. Now, during the registration of new residential complexes and neighborhoods, the conformity of their names to the rules of the Uzbek language will be checked.
