A video circulated on social media showing an unknown person taking a donation box installed near the store, sparking widespread discussion. The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent gave an official response to this situation.
It was reported that on January 28 of this year, around 18:00, an unknown person stole a donation box in front of one of the shops located in the Tashabbus neighborhood of Yangihayot district and fled the scene. As a result of the prompt measures taken, the citizen suspected of committing this crime was identified and detained.
It is reported that the Yangihayot District Department of Internal Affairs is conducting a pre-investigation check on the incident. Based on the results of the investigation, a corresponding decision will be made within the framework of the law.
