Uzbekistan and Serbia sign 11 documents on cooperation

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić signed a Joint Declaration on mutual cooperation between the countries, as well as a package of documents in Tashkent. In total, 11 documents were adopted. The signed agreements include matters of cooperation in the fields of economy, investment, medicine, tourism, education, science, culture, advanced technologies, and artificial intelligence. Documents were also signed regarding the training of diplomats, labor migration, sports, and the partnership of the cities of Tashkent and Belgrade. Before the signing of the documents, the leaders of the two states held negotiations at the “Kuksaroy” residence with the participation of official delegations. They discussed joint projects and agreed to hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Tashkent next year. During the negotiations, issues of cooperation in new routes of "Central Asia – Balkans" transport corridors, labor migration, cultural-humanitarian relations, and education were also considered.
