Volume of vegetable harvest for 2025 announced
In January-September 2025, Uzbek farmers produced 9.9 million tons of vegetables. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

The largest harvests were gathered in Andijan and Samarkand regions, each accounting for 1.4 million tons. Next are Fergana and Surkhandarya regions with 1.1 million tons each, and Tashkent region with 1 million tons of vegetables produced.

During this period, 1.6 million tons of agricultural products were exported abroad, with a total value reaching 1.5 billion US dollars. Compared to last year, export volume increased by 7.5 percent.

The main share of exports consisted of vegetables (504.4 thousand tons), fruits and berries (456.1 thousand tons), melons and gourds (229.2 thousand tons), as well as nuts and mung beans.
