A ceremony for signing bilateral agreements was held following an important roundtable attended by heads of leading US companies, investment funds, and financial institutions. The event was attended by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and US Secretary of Commerce Govard Latnik.
The package of signed documents covers various sectors of strategic importance for Uzbekistan and highlights the deepening of cooperation with US businesses.
In particular, the following documents were signed:
• Cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Geology and "Denali Exploration Group" on the production of rare earth elements;
• Cooperation agreement between the Uzbekistan Fund for Reconstruction and Development and "Re Element Technologies" on the implementation of rare earth metal projects;
• Cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade and "Flowserve" on the modernization of pump stations;
• Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and "Valmont Industries Inc" on the introduction of modern water-saving technologies;
• Agreement between the Ministry of Digital Technologies and "Palo Alto Networks" on expanding cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence;
• Contract between "Uzairways" and "Boeing" on aircraft delivery;
• Contract between "Datacrop" and "Luis Dreyfus Company" on the supply of soybean pods and meal;
• Contract between "O‘zsanoateksport" and "Cargill" on the supply of cotton.
