Tomorrow the Moon will approach Earth: supermoon event

One of the biggest and brightest astronomical events of this year - the supermoon - will appear in the sky tomorrow, November 5. This was reported by the British publication "The Guardian."

According to scientists, this night the Moon will approach the closest point to Earth - closer than 357 thousand kilometers. Therefore, it looks approximately 8 percent larger and 16 percent brighter than usual.

Experts explain that a "supermoon" is defined as the moment when the Moon is fully illuminated at the nearest point in its orbit around Earth. At this time, its appearance is much more impressive and beautiful than an ordinary full moon.

Good news for viewers - this view will be possible from almost all corners of the world, including from the sky of Uzbekistan. In Tashkent, the Moon will rise around 9:50 PM. Astronomers say that its most astonishing appearance is observed precisely during the ascent.

Moreover, this is the last supermoon of the current year. If the air is clear and transparent, this clear and distinct picture can be observed even with the naked eye, without the help of any optical devices.
