The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, continues to hold meetings with representatives of major companies in the United States. In Washington, the head of state met with Shilpan Amin, the CEO of General Motors International.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their cooperation. It was noted that the company has produced 1.6 million vehicles over the past five years.
Uzbekistan is the second largest market for this brand after the US and has become the leader in sales in Central Asia and the CIS region. In addition, the GM representative promised to assist in the process of localizing products.
