On Thursday, the list of footballers called up for the France national team's November training camp was announced. The list also includes "Al-Ittihad" club midfielder N'Golo Kante.
Kante was last called up to the national team a year ago. "Les Bleus" head coach Didier Deschamps explained his decision.
"I am in constant contact with him. In the games I’ve watched, he was in very good shape.
He is playing every three to four days. He can still be called up to the national team and has received another invitation.
Kante has a special status and experience. I am not calling him up just to be part of the squad, but because he will play an important role.
We are regularly monitoring his condition," Deschamps told journalists. In November, the France national team will play against Ukraine and Azerbaijan as part of the World Cup qualifiers.
