Mirziyoyev and Putin Discuss Cooperation


On November 11, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a phone conversation with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. During the discussion, the two leaders addressed issues related to the development of cooperation between their countries.

In particular, they exchanged views on increasing trade volume, joint projects in the fields of economy and energy, as well as strengthening collaboration between the regions of the two countries. Additionally, the parties positively assessed the results of the Uzbekistan-Russia interregional council meeting held on October 22 in the Moscow region.

The presidents also emphasized the importance of the intergovernmental commission and business forum scheduled for December 3.
