December 26: Cold, snow, and rain expected in some regions

On December 26, winter weather conditions will prevail in several regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Uzhydromet. In particular, a significant drop in temperatures is expected in the western parts of the country.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, daytime temperatures will range from –3 to +2 degrees Celsius. At night, the cold will intensify further, with temperatures dropping to as low as –10 degrees. These areas will experience the true face of winter.

In Tashkent, brief rain showers are possible during the early morning hours. Throughout the day, relatively mild weather will persist, with temperatures ranging between +3 and +5 degrees Celsius. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution on the wet roads in the morning.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, daytime temperatures are expected to rise to +2 to +7 degrees Celsius. Additionally, snow may fall in some districts of the Navoi region, which could potentially affect road traffic.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, no precipitation is forecasted. Daytime temperatures in these areas will be comparatively warm, reaching +6 to +11 degrees Celsius. Winter in the south will be relatively mild.

In the Fergana Valley, daytime temperatures will range from +3 to +8 degrees Celsius. In the mountainous regions of the country, snowfall is expected, with temperatures hovering between –2 and –7 degrees Celsius.

In brief, weather conditions across the country on December 26 will vary: some areas will experience cold and snow, while others will have relatively mild and dry weather. Winter is reminding us of its presence — don’t forget to dress accordingly.
