The chatbot Gemini now supports the Uzbek language, according to the Ministry of Digital Technologies. In addition to Uzbek, the artificial intelligence assistant can operate in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and approximately 40 other languages.
This development marks an important step in advancing the digital technology and artificial intelligence ecosystem in Uzbekistan. The ministry highlighted that this feature will allow specialists, entrepreneurs, and a wide range of users to utilize modern solutions in their native language.
Additionally, in the autumn of this year, the Google AI Plus subscription was introduced for users in Uzbekistan. Its monthly cost is set at 5 US dollars.
Gemini (which means “twins” in English) is a series of artificial intelligence models developed by Google that functions as a chatbot and personal assistant. It is capable of interacting with users, generating texts, code, and images.
The first version of the bot was launched in March 2023.
