In Uzbekistan, the transfer of studies between state higher educational institutions for the winter semester will begin on December 20. This is stated in the resolution "On the organization of admission processes to state higher educational institutions."
It is reported that the transfer of winter studies will be carried out only on the basis of two types of valid reasons and will be carried out only by submitting documents in person, not online, but offline.
Here are the reasons that may be grounds for relocation:
- If the student is married and wants to transfer his studies to a university in the region where his spouse permanently resides;
- When an employee of a state body changes their place of work and their spouse or minor child wants to transfer their studies. In this case, a letter of recommendation from the head of the relevant ministry or agency is required.
Applications will be submitted offline to regional working groups from December 20 to January 20. Online applications are not accepted, and filling out documents through the website is not provided.
Students (or their close relatives) personally submit the following documents:
- Application for transfer of studies (issued by the territorial working group and filled out on the spot);
- A copy of the rating book or academic certificate/transcript (one is sufficient);
- Copy of passport;
- Documents confirming the valid reason.
Working groups have been created in the universities responsible for the effective implementation of the winter transfer process, and all issues are resolved through these groups.
