On December 16, variable and foggy weather is expected across most regions of Uzbekistan, according to the Hydrometeorological Service of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet). In Tashkent, daytime temperatures will range from +7°C to +9°C, while nighttime temperatures are forecasted between -1°C and +1°C, with the possibility of light rain.
In the regions of Navoi, Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand, precipitation is expected towards the evening. Daytime temperatures are forecasted to range from +5°C to +10°C.
The warmest weather will be observed in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, where temperatures could rise up to +13°C. Meanwhile, in Karakalpakstan, snowfall is expected, and nighttime temperatures may drop to as low as -8°C.
There is also a likelihood of snowfall in mountainous regions, with daytime temperatures ranging from 0°C to +5°C. Uzhydromet has also warned of the risk of avalanches in the mountainous areas of Tashkent and Namangan regions.
