The night from July 10 to 11 turned into yet another terrifying one for Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. As a result of a large-scale attack carried out by the Russian Federation, powerful explosions, widespread destruction, and fires were recorded in the city, reports pravda.com.ua. Local residents repeatedly reported explosions and the sounds of drones. The events in Kyiv once again drew the attention of the country and the international community.
According to official sources, this time Russia used both drones and ballistic missiles simultaneously. According to the head of Kyiv city military administration, Timur Tkachenko, the consequences of the attack were recorded in six districts of the city. Residential buildings, cars, warehouses, offices, and other non-residential buildings were damaged, with many objects burned.
Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko personally provided prompt information to the public via Telegram. He noted that in Shevchenkivskyi, Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Podilskyi districts, large fires broke out as a result of drone crashes. The upper floors of some residential buildings were completely destroyed, and in some cases, debris fell into courtyards.

According to Timur Tkachenko, two people died as a result of the attack, and 13 people were injured. Klitschko reported that the number of victims had reached 14, with nine patients hospitalized and the rest treated on the spot. In the Podilskyi district, the #1 primary medical care center's outpatient clinic was almost completely destroyed.
In his speech, Klitschko urged city residents to follow safety measures: "If you are returning home, do not open your windows, the level of air pollution is very high," said the mayor. This is because the level of harmful substances in the air increased even more due to the explosions and fires.

The situation was also severe across districts: a fire was recorded on the upper floor of a residential building in Shevchenkivskyi, garages and a gas station burned down in Darnytskyi, the roof of a non-residential building was destroyed in Solomianskyi, a truck burned down in Holosiivskyi, and debris fell on the territory of a non-residential building in Podilskyi.
The emergency services responded quickly, and several fires were extinguished. But due to the explosions, fallen building materials, and destroyed buildings, rescuers faced especially difficult work.
The new attack became another severe test for Kyiv residents. Such strikes cause not only material damage but also deep moral anguish to many. For people worried about their homes and children, every night becomes a new threat and every day a new challenge. Especially after this attack, anxiety and alertness increased even more in the city.
Today's events once again showed the reality of threats to civilians, infrastructure, and everyday life. The world community continues to react to the events in Kyiv. City officials call on residents to take precautions, be alert, and patient. The night in Kyiv will be remembered in history as another tragic and alarming night. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
