New analysis has revealed the world’s leading countries in terms of the number of millionaires. According to a report published by Global Wealth Databook and Bloomberg, Switzerland ranks first among countries with a high proportion of wealthy citizens.
According to the analysis, nearly one in six adults in Switzerland is considered a millionaire. This fact once again confirms the country’s economic stability, efficient financial system, and high-level banking services.
Hong Kong, Australia, and the United States also rank high in the number of millionaires. In these countries, approximately one in ten citizens belongs to the ranks of millionaires. Such figures are linked not only to economic growth, but also to an investment-friendly environment, guaranteed property rights, and business opportunities.
Unfortunately, Uzbekistan was not included in this ranking. The number of wealthy people is also quite low in neighboring countries. In Kazakhstan, 0.5% of the population are millionaires; in Russia, 0.4%; and in Turkey, only 0.1%.
According to experts, countries such as Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Australia have seen growth in the number of millionaires due to low inflation, financial freedom, and a secure investment climate. Favorable tax policies and the widespread use of digital banking services have also been cited as key factors in wealth growth.
The report shows that although global financial inequality is steadily increasing, some countries have managed to capitalize on the situation and achieve major success in accumulating capital and attracting investors. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
