Starting from 2026, the 'Uzaviatsiya' agency will begin operating without funds allocated from the state budget. This decision is reflected in the presidential decree that has set a new management system in the field of aviation.
Also, from the end of 2025, the practice of transferring 20 percent of the net profit of the 'Uzaeronavigation' enterprise to the agency development fund will be discontinued. These funds will now remain fully at the disposal of the enterprise.
The government has set clear goals for the development of aviation until 2030. According to the plan, within five years, passenger traffic will be increased to 24 million people, the number of domestic and international flights will reach 200,000, and 180 aircraft will be added to the fleet of Uzbek airlines.
