US President Donald Trump and Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping held a meeting at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit held in South Korea, Reuters reports. Xi Jinping was accompanied by Foreign Minister Wang Yi, his close associate and chief of staff Cai Xi, Chairman of the State Economic Planning Committee Zheng Shanze, as well as Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao.
The US delegation included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, US Ambassador to China David Perdue, and White House Chief of Staff Susan Wiles.
