Tokayev Supports Trump's Ukraine Plan

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced his support for former U.S. President Donald Trump's initiative to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by the Akorda press service.

In a joint briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Tokayev expressed his appreciation for Trump's efforts to achieve peace amidst the current global tensions and stated that he endorses the plan proposed by Trump. Earlier, NBC reported that Trump had prepared a 28-point plan to regulate the situation in Ukraine.

Ukrainian parliament member Oleksiy Goncharenko emphasized that details of this document became known after the U.S. delegation's meeting with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to the plan, Ukraine should abandon its goal of joining NATO, hold elections within 100 days after the agreement is signed, and recognize Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk as Russian territories.

Zelensky confirmed receiving the "Trump Plan" and expressed his readiness to discuss its details with the U.S. President.
