Electric cars are increasing: Which region has the highest number of registered cars?

Uzbekistan As of October 1, 2025, 86.1 thousand electric vehicles were registered in the country, which indicates an increasing need for digital economy and environmentally friendly transport.

Among the total number of electric vehicles, the city of Tashkent accounts for 75%, having 64,779 electric vehicles, and the capital has the largest number of electric vehicles.

The distribution by region is as follows:

• Tashkent city - 64,779 units.
• Tashkent region - 6,355 units.
• Samarkand region - 2,851 units.
• Khorezm region - 1,928 units.
• Kashkadarya region - 1,876 units.
• Fergana region - 1,624 units.
• Bukhara region - 1,439 units.
• Navoi region - 1,250 units.
• Andijan region - 1,126
• Namangan region - 952
• Republic of Karakalpakstan - 699
• Syrdarya region - 597
• Jizzakh region - 376
• Surkhandarya region - 212 units
