Methane Temporary restriction on gas stations - what are the reasons?

Due to a technical malfunction in the gas network of the neighboring country and a decrease in natural gas imports, Uzbekistan is introducing temporary restrictions on the natural gas supply system.

First of all, the stable supply of natural gas to residential buildings and social facilities, such as schools, preschool educational institutions, hospitals, and higher educational institutions, is ensured.

At the same time, based on schedules agreed with local authorities, temporary restrictions are being introduced on the operation of "methane gas stations." This measure is necessary to prevent a drop in natural gas pressure and ensure the stability of gas supply.

These restrictions are only temporary, and practical work is being carried out to restore gas pressure. Additional information about the restrictions is expected from time to time.
