Increasing official trade turnover in the agricultural sector by at least three times during 2026-2027 was identified as one of the main goals of the new Decree signed by the President.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-153 dated September 4 of this year, from January 1, 2026, a number of benefits will be introduced in the process of selling products grown by agricultural producers.
In particular, a "zero" rate for value-added tax will be introduced on the sale of these products. At the same time, the process of refunding VAT amounts to agricultural producers will also be automated, and this process will be carried out in just three days.
According to the new procedure, starting from 2026, VAT reporting on manufactured goods will be carried out only through a single supply chain. Electronic invoices are analyzed in real time depending on the level of risk.
It has also been strictly established that the share of electronic invoices in the high-risk category does not exceed 10% of the total number of invoices issued in the reporting period.
These changes will serve to increase official turnover in the agricultural sector, ensure transparency in the system, and create a favorable environment for entrepreneurs.
