Which region is leading in vegetable production in 2025?

According to the National Statistics Committee, in 2025, a total of 13.7 million tons of vegetables were grown in all categories of farms in the country. This indicator increased by 1.2% compared to 2024, and the total volume rose by another step.
In terms of regions, the leadership belongs to the Andijan region, where 2,089,165 tons of vegetables were grown. The following places are occupied by Samarkand region (1,686,136) and Fergana region (1,616,016). Surkhandarya region (1,451,656) and Tashkent region (1,378,833) also completed the top five.
In the next part of the list, the indicators of Bukhara region (1,190,463), Namangan region (1,163,885), Khorezm region (737,123), Kashkadarya region (663,909), Jizzakh region (559,047), the Republic of Karakalpakstan (419,043), Navoi region (413,048), Syrdarya region (352,921), and in the city of Tashkent, 1,557 tons were recorded. Now there is one question: will the leaders remain in this lineup in 2026 or will new record holders emerge in the "vegetable race."
