From Ozodbek Nazarbekov — a touching performance dedicated to Shirin’s memory — “Qizim” (video)
The Minister of Culture and singer Ozodbek Nazarbekov announced that he performed the recently released song titled “Qizim” in memory of Shirin Abdullayeva, who passed away last year, and that a special video clip was prepared for this song.
The lyrics of this song were written by Shirin’s father, Bahodir Abdullayev, and the music belongs to the composer Iqbol Zokirov.
The clip shows touching moments from Shirin Abdullayeva’s birth, her childhood years, creative activity, achievements, her struggle to overcome a serious illness, the final moments of her life, and up to the moments of her burial ceremony.
