In Uzbekistan, in order to implement various projects of youth and to encourage their initiatives, interest-free loans will be provided. This was reported by the State Targeted Fund for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship. Within this program, the allocation of loans of two types is envisaged.
First type of loan
First of all, opportunities are created for youth for construction, repair and equipping of buildings and facilities necessary for entrepreneurial activity. In this case, funds in the amount of 6 thousand BCW are provided for up to 3 years, with the condition of installment payment and on preferential terms.
This loan can also be used for several business projects at once. Loans will be allocated in 2025–2026 on an experimental basis, and 30 billion soms have been allocated for this direction.
The right to use such an opportunity is given to:
-
entrepreneurs, at least 50 percent of the share in the authorized fund of which belongs to youth;
-
projects in which at least 50 percent of created jobs are given to youth.
At the same time, young entrepreneurs must meet the following requirements:

according to the stability rating scale of business entities, during the last 6 months to have continuously at least «BBB» (76–85 points);
-
provide collateral not less than 125 percent of the loan amount;
-
have been operating for more than 24 months.
Second type of loan
The second type of preferential loans is provided to entrepreneurs who plan to establish educational centers for teaching foreign languages in remote and distant areas. The amount of funds is set at 320 BCW.
Such loans are provided to:
-
young people engaged in individual entrepreneurial activity;
-
enterprises, at least 50 percent of the share in the authorized fund of which belongs to youth.
In addition, the young entrepreneur must have a certificate in foreign languages at least level C1, obtained no more than two years ago.
At least 20 percent of students in the organized courses must be young people included in the “Youth notebook”.
Loan conditions
On the basis of the agreement concluded between the fund and the borrower, funds are allocated for up to 3 years, with a grace period of 6 months and with the condition of installment repayment.
The preferential loans provided within the framework of this program are expected to give youth additional incentive to start their own business and to develop existing activity.
