The month of Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims. During it, it is obligatory for all believers to increase their Tarawih prayers and recitations, and to complete the Quran.
According to the hadiths, during this month, sins are forgiven, even enemies are shown mercy, and sinners are freed from hell.
For Muslims, the month of Ramadan is a month of solidarity, kindness, and forgiveness of each other's mistakes and shortcomings. It has been a good tradition for Muslims to do more good deeds during Ramadan and to unite and support each other in this way. During this month, the elderly are visited, the sick are informed, the needy are helped, people in distress are asked for their feelings, and orphans are consoled and comforted.
Laylat al-Qadr occurs on one of the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan. According to the hadiths, if you spend this blessed night in obedience and worship, it is as if you have been performing this obedience and worship continuously for more than eighty-three years.
It is important to organize a proper diet during the month of Ramadan.
A few tips for a healthy diet and maintaining a healthy digestive system:
Start your meal with dates. Dates are a source of carbohydrates that provide energy throughout the day during fasting. The fiber in dates regulates the functioning of the digestive tract. In addition, dates are rich in magnesium and potassium.
Drink plenty of water. It is very important to drink enough water to keep your body hydrated, especially in hot weather. Drink enough water after breaking your fast and before breakfast to avoid thirst throughout the day. Try to drink 8 glasses of water when you are allowed to eat.
Avoid foods and products that make you thirsty. Avoid salty foods, canned goods, pickles, and fish. Also, avoid spicy foods, as they can make you thirsty. Eat more fruits and vegetables, which will help you replenish your body's water reserves.
Break your fast slowly. After a long period of fasting, eating a large amount of food is stressful for your body. Try to be moderate, start your fast with dates and water, then you can eat soup or salad. After a while, move on to the main course. Overeating can cause digestive problems and stomach pain. Starting your fast with a warm soup is the best meal after fasting, as it replenishes the body's nutrients and prepares it for heavier meals.
[b]Make sure your meal contains all the necessary nutrients. Iftar should include foods such as proteins, vegetables, grains, fruits, and healthy fats.
[b]Choosing healthy foods. Your diet should include grains, grains, poultry, lean meat, fish, olive oil, and fruits. Avoid fried, salty, and fatty foods. Meat, legumes, eggs, and dairy products are rich in protein. You should eat at least one of these foods every day.
Avoid sweets. Sweets after iftar cause gas in the stomach and disrupt digestion. In addition, they increase the amount of glucose in the blood, which further increases the need for sweets. Therefore, it is recommended to eat sweets 2-3 hours after iftar. Sweets should be replaced with healthier products: dates, dried fruits, candied fruits.
Avoid drinking coffee. Try to reduce your coffee intake during Ramadan to avoid headaches and insomnia.
Eating a light snack between iftar and suhoor. It is recommended to divide the main meal into three parts and have a light snack between iftar and suhoor. One third should be complex carbohydrates, one third lean meat or fish, and the rest vegetables. This will be a healthy balanced diet. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
