Another 72 Uzbeks were deported from the USA

On March 11, 72 compatriots arrived in Uzbekistan from the USA on a special flight. This was reported by the United States diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
According to the official statement, these citizens were deported because they did not have the right to legally reside in the US. Their return to their homeland was carried out by a specially organized flight.
The Embassy noted that this event is one of the next practical steps taken by the United States to combat illegal migration. Thus, it was stated that the policy of identifying and expelling persons who have violated migration rules is being consistently continued.
The statement also mentions that since Donald Trump assumed the presidency, more than 1,000 Uzbek citizens have been deported from the US. This figure indicates that the requirements for migration legislation have been tightened recently.
At the end of the statement, it was noted that persons who illegally entered the territory of the USA or reside in the country without legal status may face consequences such as imprisonment and forced deportation. At the same time, special gratitude was expressed to the government of Uzbekistan for its cooperation in the deportation process.
