On April 17-19, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, will become a true holiday for professional boxing fans. In the coming days, a big boxing evening will be organized here, and the most interesting thing is that our boxing master, Hasanboy Dusmatov, who is ranked 6th in the WBA rankings, will also enter the ring.
In the 50 kg weight category, Dusmatov will fight for the interim WBA championship belt against an experienced Puerto Rican opponent - Jonathan Gonzalez. Hasanboy's record is currently very impressive: 7 fights - 7 wins, 5 of them by knockout. Gonzalez is a seasoned boxer with a record of 29-4-1 and 14 knockouts.
This clash is interesting for fans in two ways: on the one hand - Hasanboy, who is in a winning streak and stands out for his speed and technique, and on the other hand - Gonzalez, who has extensive experience and doesn't lose his composure even in pressure fights. For information, Dusmatov last entered the ring on July 20, 2025. He then faced Mark Antonio and ultimately won by unanimous decision of the judges. So, Hasanboy is now preparing for the next stage - a belt fight.
