In Uzbekistan, control over individuals who have violated traffic rules and have been deprived of their driving privileges has been significantly tightened. Now, if citizens who do not hold a driver's license or have been temporarily suspended from driving operate a vehicle, modern surveillance cameras will automatically detect it.
Under the new rules, serious financial and criminal measures will be taken against those who drive without a license. If the violation is committed for the first time, the driver will be fined 20.6 million soums. If this occurs again, the offender may face up to 3 years of imprisonment.
These measures are being introduced to establish order on the roads and prevent traffic accidents. Experts urge drivers to comply with legal requirements and not to put the lives of others at risk. Remember, a violation can cost you not only your money but also your freedom.
