Tatarstan plans to recruit 10,000 labor migrants from Uzbekistan
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Head of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan Bekzod Musayev and the leadership of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone of Tatarstan.

In accordance with this agreement, the number of Uzbek migrants working in the Alabuga region is expected to increase significantly. Currently, 1,150 Uzbeks work here. It is planned to allocate an additional 10 thousand jobs under the new agreement.

New opportunities and jobs

The Migration Agency announced that it will announce a competition for new vacancies. In this process, applicants will be selected in accordance with the needs of the labor market. Cooperation will serve not only to expand labor migration, but also to strengthen the legal protection of workers.

“Alabuga Start” project – a new opportunity for young people

The leadership of the Migration Agency also met with young Uzbek girls studying and working in the special economic zone. They are participating in the “Alabuga Start” international project. This program provides young people aged 18-22 with the opportunity to study and work in Russia. Program participants will be provided with:

- Highly paid jobs;
- Free vocational training;
- Free housing;
- Opportunities to improve their skills in the field of catering, service, hotel services and production.

Participation Procedure

Applicants to participate in the project can contact the Migration Agency and its regional branches or submit an application independently. It was noted that the Alabuga Special Economic Zone seeks to create long-term and stable employment opportunities for citizens of Uzbekistan.

This agreement will bring cooperation in the field of labor migration between the two countries to a new level. It will expand employment opportunities for Uzbek citizens and help them improve their skills.
