According to the author, the aim of the appeal is to legally annul the decision that led to the conversion of the capital’s street sides into paid parking lots. Paid parking in Tashkent was launched in test mode in May.
According to information provided by the city administration to Kursiv Uzbekistan, 86 parking lots marked with a 'P' sign were opened in the city in spring. The hourly parking fee ranges from 5,000 to 12,000 soums depending on the tariff zone.
A fine is foreseen in case of non-payment.
