Cost of Celebrating New Year's Eve in Tashkent


The average cost of booking a one-night stay in Uzbekistan's hotels for the New Year holiday is 859,000 som (5,800 rubles). This was reported by RBK based on data from the "Ostrovok" service.

Analysts note that hotel prices have decreased by 6 percent compared to the previous year. Uzbekistan has become one of the top three most popular destinations for Russian citizens to celebrate the New Year.

Among the leading destinations are Belarus, Thailand, and Uzbekistan. According to the National Statistics Committee, in the first eight months of this year, over 663,300 Russian tourists visited Uzbekistan.
