Salaries of Psychologists in Uzbekistan

Psychologists in Uzbekistan are seeking an average salary of 9 million soums, which is 50% higher than last year. However, employers are offering an average salary of 8 million soums, which also reflects a 60% increase.

From January to October 2025, the hh.uz platform observed a significant rise in both salary expectations for psychologists and the level of competition in the field. According to the platform's analysis, the average expected salary of candidates has increased from 6 million soums to 9 million soums, while the number of resumes has risen by 17.2%.

During the same period, the average salary offered by employers increased from 5 million soums to 8 million soums, marking a 60% growth. Meanwhile, the number of vacancies grew by 20.4%, indicating rising demand, though the growth rate of candidates remains higher.

Most psychologists are concentrated in the capital, Tashkent, where employers are also predominantly active.

In 2025, the competition index reached 6.1, up from 5.6 last year. This indicates that there are, on average, six candidates for every vacancy.

Thus, the market is gradually becoming more competitive for psychologists. Previously, hh.uz identified that 49% of employees prioritize stability, while 39% prefer a flexible working style.
