McLaren team visits Tashkent

Britain's McLaren auto racing team has arrived in Tashkent. Representatives of the team will take part in the FIA Awards ceremony on December 12.

Among the visitors to Tashkent is McLaren driver Lando Norris. They were welcomed by representatives from the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

Founded in 1963 by New Zealand racer Bruce McLaren, the team has won the Constructors' Cup eight times and secured 12 championship titles.

Formula 1 legends such as Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, and Lewis Hamilton have competed for this team at various times. This British team won the Formula 1 Constructors' Cup based on the Singapore Grand Prix results during the current season.

Lando Norris also claimed victory in the "Royal Races" (Formula 1) World Championship at the beginning of December.
