Low-Income Families to Receive Payments for Planting Trees

Low-income families will be paid for planting trees
In Uzbekistan, subsidies will be provided to low-income families for trees planted on forest fund lands. For every 100 trees, they will receive funds amounting to 1 BHM (412,000 soums).

The family prepares the land plot, plants the trees, and takes care of them throughout the season. A supervisor, together with the local ecology department, inspects the trees and prepares a photo report.

Information about the trees is entered into the personal account of the "Ecoactive Citizen" platform and approved within five business days. After this, 50 percent of the subsidy amount is paid to the family, with the funds directly transferred to their bank card.
