The body of Durdona Khakimova and her two children were brought to Uzbekistan

The body of the deceased Uzbek citizen Durdona Khakimova and her two children were brought to the homeland with the help of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul. It is noted that the costs of their return and the organization of the trip were covered by the Consulate General and the Migration Agency.
According to the Consulate General, following this incident, negative and biased opinions are being spread on social networks that undermine the honor and dignity of the deceased. Diplomats reminded that making biased conclusions about a person without fully understanding the situation and leaving insulting comments can lead to legal liability.
According to studies, Durdona Khakimova was the founder of the military clothing store Eskere Melzeme, located in the Fatih district of Istanbul. It was said that he, as an active entrepreneur, has helped many of our compatriots, and his children are studying at a lyceum specializing in design.
The Consulate General emphasized that such one-sided and insulting relations not only tarnish the honor of a person, but also the reputation of our nation. Therefore, the need to verify any information before disseminating it and to be responsible when expressing opinions was once again emphasized.
