The Tulpar transport card used in Kyrgyzstan will be adapted for paying fares on Tashkent public transport. Vesti.kg reported this. This was also reported by kursiv.uzreports.
Under the project, the integration is planned to be completed by 2026. As a result, tourists arriving from Kyrgyzstan will not need to buy a separate ATTO card in Tashkent.
The parties also noted that, within the framework of mutual cooperation, Uzbekistan’s fare payment cards are expected to work in Kyrgyzstan as well. Tulpar cards have been used in Kyrgyzstan since 2020 for cashless payments on public transport: passengers pay via validators according to the set tariff.
A memorandum on mutual recognition of transport cards was signed in August last year.
