From 9 to 16 January, the sharpest rise on the stock market was seen in Ipoteka-bank shares: the securities gained 82.39% in a week. Over the same period, the UCI stock index also increased by 3.43%.
During the week, ordinary shares of Aloqabank rose by 43.18%, while ordinary shares of Uzsanoatqurilishbank increased by 40.31%. The biggest decline was recorded in Uzbekgeofizika shares, which fell by 2.93%. UzAuto Motors shares dropped by 1.85%, and preferred shares of Uzsanoatqurilishbank decreased by 1.83%.
The share price of the Business Development Bank remained unchanged. Among highly liquid stocks, 24 securities closed the week higher, one was unchanged, and four posted declines.
For comparison, in the previous week the UCI index rose by 0.95%, with Uzsanoatqurilishbank leading the gains at 75.48%.
