Slutsky-led Shanghai Shenhua lose again

Leonid Slutsky’s Shanghai Shenhua finished another AFC Champions League match without points. In the 6th round of the league stage, the Chinese club lost away to Sanfrecce Hiroshima 0–1. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

The only goal of the match was scored in the 78th minute: the hosts’ defender Hayato Araki struck accurately to secure Hiroshima’s win. This result marked Shanghai Shenhua’s third straight defeat in the tournament.

After six rounds, Slutsky’s team sit 11th in the table with 4 points. Hiroshima are third with 11 points.
