Aaron Danks to lead Bayern in PSG clash

Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany will miss the first leg of the Champions League semifinal against PSG because of a suspension. His place will be taken by his temporary assistant, Aaron Danks.
This was reported by Goal.com reported.
Before this, Danks also worked as a temporary coach at Aston Villa and recorded one big win and one defeat.

Danks is mainly responsible for set pieces at the Munich club. Statistics show that Bayern has mixed results in this area.
Of the 52 goals the team has conceded this season, 20, or 38%, came after set pieces. This figure is far higher than the Bundesliga average of 24%.

At the same time, the situation in attack is completely different. Kompany considers his team one of the best in Europe at scoring from set pieces.
The Munich side have scored 13 goals from corners in the German championship. Danks has admitted that when creating new tactics, he also uses old methods from the Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery era.
Under UEFA rules, Kompany cannot contact Danks during the match. He will watch the game from the stands and will be allowed into the dressing room only 10 minutes after the final whistle.
Aaron Danks began his career at the age of 15 and worked with stars such as Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala in England's youth national teams.
