Week starts hot, rain expected on the weekend

Weather in Uzbekistan in the coming week is expected to be marked by sharp contrasts. According to climatologist Erkin Abdulahatov, very hot and dry air will prevail across the republic during the workweek, while the situation may change on the weekend.
At the start of the week, under the influence of low-pressure warm air currents, temperatures in many regions will rise to +33…+36 degrees. Due to slightly higher humidity, this heat will be felt not as ordinary heat but as stuffy and “heavy” air. At the same time, such temperatures are said to be ideal for plants and agriculture.
Only in mountainous areas will relatively cool weather with light winds remain. However, this stability will not last long.
Experts note that by the weekend, moist air flow may move in from Turkmenistan. Because of this, there is a possibility of heavy downpours in some areas, and even mudslides and floods.
In particular, on April 30 and May 1, short-lived but intense rainfall is expected in the valleys and foothill areas. This situation may also have a positive effect on the replenishment of reservoirs and river flow.
In short, the week will begin in “hot mode,” but by the end of the week nature has prepared a surprise. So it is better to make plans based only on the weather — nature will quickly change its mood this week.
