The Tashkent City Administration and the Ministry of Transport have launched the website Tozapoytaxt.uz. Through this platform, residents of the capital can now track the movement of waste collection trucks in real-time using a GPS system.
Additionally, citizens' complaints and inquiries regarding waste management can now be submitted in a centralized manner through the public oversight platform Xalqnazorati.uz. These initiatives aim to increase transparency, convenience, and efficiency in the waste management system.
From January 1, 2026, a number of significant changes are planned for implementation. A system for evaluating the services provided to citizens will be introduced, and a two-year program to equip neighborhoods with waste containers will also be announced.
