Uzbekistan and Slovakia to establish a cybersecurity center


Uzbekistan and Slovakia are planning to establish a joint center to monitor the cybersecurity of banks and control cargo transportation. This initiative was discussed during a meeting between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Slovak leader Peter Pellegrini.

The parties also agreed to increase the mutual supply of goods. Uzbekistan will export textiles, leather products, and fruit and vegetables to Slovakia, while Slovakia will supply rubber, automobile parts, and pharmaceutical products.

In 2026, the first forum of the rectors of the two countries, as well as tourism exhibitions and Tourism Days, are planned to be held in Bratislava.
